Strong and proud you fill the skies
Soaring above us so very high
Looking out for us every day
We still mourn when you went away
 
But there you fly keeping us safe
You live on forever and we just wait
For the day when we will join you there
Flying together with no more care
 
Your beauty and majesty gives honour to
The Rainbow Serpent who created you
Your gentle spirit shines through your eyes
And passes to us down from the skies
